Job Summary
Conduct witness interviews, organize case files, manage document scanning, and resolve calendaring conflicts for the Behavioral Health Practice. Synthesize complex information from diverse sources, prepare witness summaries, and compile annotations, indexes, and provisions of statutes and cases. Review, organize, index, and Bates-stamp pertinent documents for disclosure and discovery, while assisting attorneys with court proceedings and trial preparation. Liaise directly with hospital personnel and conduct investigations and fact-finding to ensure seamless legal operations. This role requires a blend of sharp legal knowledge spanning Arizona and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure with practical court compliance skills.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in paralegal studies/legal assistant, or a related field
- Two years of experience in legal support or related experience
- Certificate in Paralegal Studies
- Bachelor's or higher in paralegal studies, legal assistant, or a related field
- Bachelor's or higher in an unrelated field
- Associate or Certification in paralegal studies
- Two years of paralegal experience
- Two years of legal support experience
- Bachelor's Degree in any field
- Certificate of completion from a Legal Assistant or Paralegal studies program
- Two years of experience as a legal assistant supporting attorneys in a civil trial practice
- Bachelor's or higher in paralegal studies
- JD from an American Bar Association (ABA) approved program
- Two years of experience as a legal assistant supporting attorneys in a civil trial practice
- Arizona and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure
