Job Summary
Civil Manager serves as a liaison between Pre-Construction and Development for 2 to 4 urban/cottage projects, guiding efforts through due diligence, entitlements, plan production, and permitting before handoff to Landmark Urban Construction. Responsibilities include reviewing development and architect agreements, coordinating with a land-use attorney and consulting engineers, meeting with city officials and utility providers, identifying off-site improvement requirements, creating preliminary schedules, aligning with A/E teams on permitting, coordinating rezones and entitlements, and leading/participating in coordination calls to ensure project deliverables and compliance with AHJs. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field and 3-5 years of civil/construction experience; proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Project; strong communication and organizational skills; familiarity with urban/cottage projects and local code compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in civil engineering or construction management
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and construction processes
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Project
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience with urban and/or cottage projects
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
