Job Summary
Civil Maintenance Manager sought to lead on-site civil maintenance across ConnectSydney's Harbour Zone. Responsibilities include managing daily on-site work of multiple team leads, sub-contractors and supply chain, developing and executing short- and medium-term maintenance programmes, coordinating with TfNSW stakeholders, guiding the Estimating team on pricing, and ensuring work aligns with documented procedures and quality standards. The role requires overseeing budgets, resource utilisation, safety compliance, and stakeholder management, with a focus on improving maintenance strategies, lifecycle planning, and network performance across roads, tunnels, motorways and bridges. A recognised trade or engineering qualification is preferred, with 10+ years of senior-management experience in maintenance delivery in a 24/7 operational environment. The position involves day and night shifts and on-site work in Rockdale, NSW, Australia.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years+ experience in a management role
- Demonstrated experience leading maintenance operations within roads, tunnels, motorways, bridges or other critical infrastructure environments
- Strong understanding of asset management principles, risk-based maintenance and lifecycle planning
