Job Summary
Manage document organization, review, and redaction of privileged materials across paper and electronic formats. Administer e-discovery platforms, coordinate document collection and production, and maintain data integrity while assisting attorneys with deadlines. Prepare subpoenas, summarize depositions and records, and draft pre-trial pleadings, exhibit lists, and witness lists. Analyze medical and billing records for page and line summaries, conduct jurisdictional research, and gather expert information. Maintain clear communication with attorneys, courts, clients, and vendors while providing support during trial. Requires a BA/BS, ABA-approved paralegal certificate, and 5+ years of civil litigation experience. Full-time direct hire in Los Angeles with hybrid schedule after 45 days; salary $110k DOE.
Required Qualifications
- BA or BS degree
- Paralegal Certificate from an ABA approved Program
- 5+ years' experience working as a civil litigation Paralegal for a law firm
- eDiscovery platforms, process and the review and setup of the electronically stored information (ESI) process
- Excellent attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word (2010 or higher), Excel and Outlook, Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Use of database software such as Summation, Concordance FTK and/or Relativity
- Updated resume
- Local candidates
