Job Summary
Independently manage a civil litigation caseload from assignment through resolution, drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery while taking and defending depositions. Represent clients at hearings, mediations, and proceedings across insurance defense, general liability, commercial litigation, and trucking matters. Develop litigation strategy in collaboration with experienced attorneys and build trusted client relationships while delivering high-quality legal work. Support both Colorado matters and opportunities across a national litigation platform. Maintain an active Colorado law license and demonstrate the ability to independently manage an active docket with minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Active Colorado law license
- Minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience in a law firm
- Insurance defense and/or civil litigation experience
- Ability to independently manage an active litigation docket
- Experience with motion practice, discovery, and depositions
- Strong legal writing, research, and advocacy skills
- Excellent organization and time management abilities
- Self-starter who takes ownership and requires minimal day-to-day supervision
- Stable employment history demonstrating commitment and professional growth
Desired Qualifications
- Licensed in Texas and/or Arizona
- Experience with commercial casualty, trucking, premises liability, or first-party property litigation
- Trial preparation or courtroom experience
- Interest in long-term career growth within a national firm
