Job Summary
Civil Litigation Associate responsible for representing clients in civil litigation matters, including trials, arbitrations, and mediations. Create and implement strategies to achieve favorable outcomes, negotiate settlements, conduct legal research, and draft pleadings and motions. Manage all phases of litigation from initiation to resolution (discovery through trial prep), maintain accurate case files, and collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and staff. Requires at least 3 years of Civil Litigation experience, a J.D., and a WA license; offers professional development and competitive benefits; compensation $125,000–$145,000 per year.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law institution
- Valid license to practice law in Washington State
- At least 3 years of Civil Litigation experience
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
- Skilled at managing multiple cases and priorities efficiently
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated capacity to work both independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with legal research tools and case management software
