Job Summary
Gather materials daily, distribute them safely at the job site, and hand-locate existing utilities. Hand-grade landscape areas and dig trenches for conduits, then unload, replace, and secure equipment or backfill after ditch line digs for gas mains. Safely operate construction and jobsite equipment while lifting heavy items as needed. Maintain a safe work environment and perform other duties as assigned. Requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, clean criminal background check, and prior civil/construction laboring experience. Compensation is $26/hr.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Valid Driver License required with a satisfactory driving record
- Must clear criminal background check
- Prior experience in a civil/construction laboring position required
- Dependable and reliable
- Able to take and follow directions
- Safety-oriented
- Must be able to lift heavy equipment for installation, when needed
