Job Summary
Civil Inspector (infrastructure) at Parsons performing continuous surveillance of inspection activities to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and specifications. Duties include ensuring works follow plans, maintaining a detailed diary, interfacing with the public and stakeholders, coordinating with site engineers and other inspectors, sampling and testing for QA, coordinating with surveyors to verify line/grade, reporting contractor non-conformances, processing inspection requests, maintaining day-work records, and upholding health and safety at site. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil/Construction Engineering, 5+ years in road/infrastructure construction supervision, ability to read drawings and specifications, strong computer and communication skills, and preferred ADM/DMT project experience; availability of required security clearance. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil or Construction Engineering
- Minimum 5+ years of demonstrable experience in road/infrastructure construction supervision and general Wet/Dry utilities projects
- Ability to read shop drawings, method statements and construction specifications
- Fully computer literate and able to utilize project software
- Good written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- ADM / DMT projects experience preferred
- Minimum Clearance Required to Start
