Civil Inspector

Civil Inspector responsible for day-to-day supervision and inspection of stormwater drainage and microtunneling works in Dubai, ensuring activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project standards while maintaining compliance with quality, safety, and authority requirements. Review and apply applicable codes and project specs; conduct daily inspections of excavation, shoring, backfilling, microtunneling drives, shaft construction, reinforcement, concrete pouring, waterproofing, and finishing of stormwater structures. Verify alignment, gradients, and levels for pipelines and manholes; ensure contractor works comply with Dubai Municipality and RTA standards. Record and report daily manpower, equipment, and material deliveries; supervise curing, coating, and lining works. Assist Resident Engineer in issuing site instructions and verifying contractor responses, coordinate with contractor on corrective actions, prepare daily inspection reports, support surveying and measurement verification, monitor testing, commissioning, and handover, review RFIs and method statements, and coordinate with client representatives and authority inspectors. Maintain organized records of inspections, NCRs, test results, as-built updates, and executed works; onboarding includes in-person Day 1 at a AECOM office.
