Job Summary
Operate heavy equipment including blade, dozer, loader, scraper, forklift, bobcat, roller, backhoe, excavator, and tractor to support the mechanical scope of solar field construction. Perform routine maintenance such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning while adhering to prescribed safety regulations. Read and interpret operating manuals, load charts, and safety rules; provide timely documentation of field decisions and production tracking. Lift 50+ pound equipment and conduct repetitive physical actions while standing or walking for extended periods outdoors in all weather conditions. This field-based position in Krum, Texas requires a positive, safety-conscious operator with at least one year of experience and relevant equipment certifications.
Required Qualifications
- GED or equivalent education
- Minimum 1 year experience
- Equipment certifications as required
- Current driver's license of proper class and necessary endorsements as required by law
- Ability to lift 50+ pound equipment, maneuvering them into their proper places
- Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Able to follow precise instruction and receive feedback
- Candidates must be able to work in all weather conditions, as safety permits
- This position requires working outdoors in various, often extreme weather conditions including rain, snow, heat, cold, etc
Desired Qualifications
