Job Summary
The Civil Heavy Equipment Operator will independently operate various heavy machinery such as blades, dozers, loaders, scrapers, and excavators to contribute to the construction of solar fields. Candidates should possess knowledge of the equipment and safety regulations, perform routine maintenance, and have basic mathematical skills. Successful applicants will model behaviors in safety, quality, and teamwork, and will be expected to document field decisions timely. A minimum of one year of experience and a GED or equivalent education are required.
Required Qualifications
- GED or equivalent education
- Minimum 1 year experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working on construction projects preferred
- Equipment certifications as required
- Current driver’s license of proper class and necessary endorsements as required by law
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions as safety permits
- Exposure to loud noises, dust, debris, and other construction-related hazards
