Job Summary
Conduct field and laboratory tests, perform geotechnical and material testing project management, and prepare engineering reports under supervision. Observe construction progress, maintain client communications, and develop solutions for projects ranging from stadium infrastructure to municipal utilities. Work independently on limited scope assignments and collaborate as a team member to build a foundation for obtaining Professional Engineer licensure. This role includes a 50% field rotation with travel up to 25%, requiring a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering and EIT certification. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with geotechnical, materials emphasis, or related
- Possess EIT certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to perform field related services at least 50% of time during the program field rotation
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to occasionally lift 50 pounds
- Ability to travel up to 25% of time
