Job Summary
Lead onsite crews, plan daily work programmes, and operate plant including excavators to deliver high-quality civil construction outcomes safely and efficiently. Coordinate resources, drive a positive safety culture through toolbox meetings, and monitor productivity while working closely with supervisors, managers, and clients. Maintain a proactive leadership style by making confident onsite decisions and ensuring projects complete on time to a high standard. Requires a Class 2 licence, WTR endorsements, and experience in excavation or infrastructure environments. Includes after-hours call-out roster flexibility. Required Qualifications
- Proven experience leading crews within civil construction, roading, infrastructure, or greenspace environments
- Strong excavation and plant operating experience
- The ability to plan, organise and coordinate work effectively
- A proactive leadership style with the confidence to make decisions onsite
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards
- Flexibility to participate in an after-hours call-out roster
- Class 2 licence
- WTR endorsements
- Experience operating excavators and other civil construction plant
- All successful applicants will be required to undertake a pre-employment drug test, medical and a Ministry of Justice check prior to starting employment
