Job Summary

Lead crews to clear and prepare sites for telecommunications construction by excavating footings, managing concrete pours, and performing grading and trenching. Supervise Civil Tech I and II through daily meetings, JHAs, and direct oversight of hand tools, equipment inspections, and safety practices. Communicate engineering drawings to navigate work flow, ensure materials are on hand, and maintain relationships with clients and subcontractors while developing team members. Requires a valid driver's license, frequent travel across Washington and the PNW, and knowledge of drawings and specifications. Capstone Solutions, a locally-owned telecom builder, offers a competitive wage of $33–$45/hour, paid time off, and a company vehicle.

Required Qualifications

  • Civil Foreman experience in telecommunications construction
  • Ability to train and mentor Civil Techs I and II
  • Proficient use of hand tools
  • Ability to lead crews to clear and prepare sites for construction
  • Ability to communicate engineering and construction drawings with crew
  • Ability to supervise and direct work of Civil Tech I and Civil Tech II
  • Ability to ensure and monitor crew's safety practices
  • Ability to lead and perform JHA's during Foreman's Daily meetings
  • Ability to ensure equipment, materials and small tools are in safe operating condition
  • Ability to ensure equipment walk-around, DOT Vehicle, and pre-operational inspections are routinely and fully completed
  • Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors and co-workers
  • Ability to effectively communicate with clients, subcontractors, vendors and co-workers
  • Ability to share clear expectations
  • Ability to hold others accountable for their actions
  • Excavating footings, tower foundations, tower beef-ups, tower anchors, grounding and utility trenching, grading, concrete work
  • Tying rebar, managing concrete pours, finishing foundations and slabs
  • Backfill and pack all excavations
  • Operating many types of equipment
  • Some carpentry experience i.e. framing, drywall etc.
  • Valid driver license
  • Acceptable motor vehicle driving record
  • Willingness to travel frequently throughout Washington and extended PNW job sites
  • Ability to know and understand drawings and specifications
  • Ability to supervise and lead employees
  • Ability to pass a Background Check
  • Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Physical
  • Ability to pass a Drug Screen
