Job Summary
The Civil Foreman is responsible for directing the crew based on instructions from the General Foreman and Superintendent. Responsibilities include maintaining safety accountability, ensuring high-quality work, completing daily timecards, conducting toolbox safety meetings, managing permits, and performing craft employee evaluations. Candidates should possess a minimum of four years of relevant experience, hold necessary certifications, and have a good understanding of safety policies and protocols. Effective communication and knowledge of hand tools are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of four (4) years of refinery maintenance/turnaround/or construction experience.
- Must be able to pass the Craft Skills Test at or above 70% or have an NCCER certification for your craft.
- Completed the Matrix Service Safety training, Process Safety Management training, S.T.A.R.T. Class and Client / Site specific training.
- To obtain and maintain an active status in a drug testing program.
- Subject to random drug screenings.
Desired Qualifications
- Good communication skills both verbal and with a computer.
- Knowledge of basic hand tools.
- Understanding of Matrix Service policies and procedures.
