Job Summary
Manage the full estimating cycle in HCSS, Trimble Business Center, and On Screen Takeoff to compile, create, and present final proposals for civil and earthwork projects. Oversee construction of multiple projects with annual revenues between $10 million and $25 million, including heavy civil, site-packages, road, and paving work. Review subcontract payment requisitions, vendor billing, and monthly cost projections while enforcing LIFE Safe Work Practices through monthly Job Site Safety Audits. Provide guidance to Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers, ensuring compliance with QA/QC procedures and schedule logic.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University in Construction Management, Engineering, or related curriculum or equivalent work experience
- 6-10+ years of professional experience in Heavy Civil Construction project management, field supervision, or estimating/pre-construction roles for a Heavy Civil general contractor or subcontractor
- Strong working knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and estimating for construction trades (all disciplines)
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, project management, estimating, and scheduling software programs
- Solid skills in the areas of math, budgeting, and financial analysis
- Excellent teamwork, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills
