Job Summary
The Chief Estimator seeks a Civil Estimator skilled in delivering accurate bids for civil engineering projects, such as roads and bridges, with significant experience in heavy highway projects exceeding $5M. Candidates must be able to analyze plans thoroughly to consider all relevant factors in cost estimates.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- 5+ years civil estimating experience
- Proficiency in HCSS software
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with heavy highway bidding, drainage, and design-build projects
- Strong analytical and risk assessment skills
- Familiarity with building codes and regulations
