Job Summary
Conduct construction inspection, materials testing, and survey administration for WisDOT and local projects. Monitor and document conformance with quality, performance, safety, and code requirements while assisting with engineering calculations, setting up equipment, and maintaining project documentation. Communicate directly with contractors, team members, and the project leader to complete quality projects on time and within budgets. Work independently and travel during the day or overnight as needed. Based in a home office with a high school diploma and four years of relevant experience required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 4 years of relevant experience
- demonstrated equivalency of experience
- demonstrated equivalency of education
- in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location
Desired Qualifications
- GPS and Survey equipment knowledge
- Familiarity with Civil 3D and AutoCAD
- Familiarity with municipal, county, and non-WisDOT construction projects
- Familiarity with WisDOT Standard Specifications and material certification requirements
- WisDOT material certifications including AGGTECH, PCCTECH, Nuclear Density, TMS
- A motor vehicle check
