Job Summary
Support Project Management teams with design, document development, and administration across flood control, water/wastewater, airport, transportation, and land development divisions. Perform calculations, CADD drawings, and hydraulic/structural analyses while addressing agency comments on plans. Prepare GIS exhibits, improvement plans, and preliminary design reports for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects. Attend in-house training and conduct site visits as needed. This part-time role requires a currently enrolled civil engineering student with CAD proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in University/College Civil Engineering Program
- Possesses ability to apply engineering principles to evaluate and solve basic engineering problems
- Valid driver's license
- Travel in personal vehicle may be required
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of CAD Civil 3D software and Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Project) is a plus
