Job Summary
Manage projects from due diligence through delivery for light industrial, office/warehouse, and commercial developments, ensuring deliverables, schedules, and costs meet client expectations and Halff requirements. Assist in developing project scopes, budgets, and schedules while preparing proposals and RFQs. Monitor project budgets, allocate resources effectively, and identify opportunities to optimize efficiency and profitability. Apply technical expertise to understand project-specific standards, criteria, and best practices, utilizing tools to plan timelines and quality control tasks. Build strong relationships with internal and external clients, providing mentorship to engineers and EITs. Communicate schedule changes to stakeholders and develop mitigation plans for at-risk tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) License in the State of Texas
- Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering or ABET accredited equivalent engineering degree
- 5 years of experience, leading and/or supporting land development projects including delivering light industrial, office/warehouse, and commercial developments, as well as community parks and sports field complexes
- Must have technical experience with land development software such as Civil 3D
- Must be proficient in project management, administration, and supervision, with a focus on quality, integrity and success
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with 2D modeling software packages
- Established client relationships in Houston Metro
