Job Summary
Oversee all civil design aspects for utility-scale renewable projects, including defining tasks, schedules, and resource requirements while maintaining QA/QC standards. Provide strategic direction and mentorship to the design team, supervise staff, and improve workflows. Prepare project proposals, manage budgets, and participate in business development activities to drive project success. Foster relationships with internal teams and clients to support overall firm growth in the renewable energy sector.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in civil design and technical solutions for renewable projects
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in budget management and proposal preparation
- Knowledge of QA/QC standards and project workflow improvement
- Supervisory experience and mentorship skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong team relationships
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on renewables site design
