Job Summary
Conduct land development design, planning, and permitting for Design/Build projects by partnering with Project Managers. Research and collect site-specific information to initiate processes, assist in drafting concept plans for life sciences, advanced manufacturing, and commercial mixed-use sites, and produce colored renderings. Review project design drawings, perform site investigative due diligence, and work with contracting teams to value engineer sites. Prepare schematic site plans, grading, and utility plans while performing preliminary storm water detention analysis, site utility design, and earth work analysis. Begin Summer 2027 in Charlotte, NC, with a competitive hourly rate, housing stipend, and medical coverage for three-month internships.
Required Qualifications
- Enrolled in a Civil/Environmental/Construction Engineering degree program
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum Grade Point Average of 3.0 is preferred
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Strong work ethic
