Job Summary
As a Civil Engineering Intern at DOWL, you will assist in roadway improvement projects and collaborate with transportation planners and designers. Responsibilities include performing engineering calculations, conducting site visits, drafting with AutoCAD, coordinating with agencies, preparing project correspondence, and supporting construction inspections. The ideal candidate is pursuing a baccalaureate degree in civil engineering, possesses strong mathematical skills, and is proficient in Microsoft Office. Required Qualifications
- One to two years of college-level coursework in civil engineering
- Valid driver’s license
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of AutoCAD
- Familiarity with construction specifications
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project software
Additional Requirements
- Must be a college-level civil engineering student
- Prior construction or civil engineering experience is desirable
