Job Summary
Assist engineers with design calculations, support preparation of engineering drawings and reports, and perform drafting using AutoCAD Civil 3D. Participate in field visits to observe construction and surveying, assist with data collection and documentation, and collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers. Learn engineering standards, design practices, and project workflows through the Internship Bingo program. Currently enrolled in an accredited Civil Engineering degree program with strong communication skills. Paid summer internship, approximately 15 hours per week, primarily office-based with occasional field travel.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Civil Engineering degree program
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Interest in civil engineering design, construction, or infrastructure
- Ability to work collaboratively and follow direction
- Approximately 15 hours per week minimum
Desired Qualifications
- AutoCAD Civil 3D experience
