Job Summary
Civil Engineering Intern at Parsons in Doha, Qatar. You’ll assist engineers and designers with civil design layouts, basic calculations, and drawings, support site supervision activities, review contractor submissions and as-built records, coordinate across disciplines, and develop professional skills through mentorship and live project exposure in a professional consulting environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate student in a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering at an accredited institution in Qatar
- Fundamental understanding of core civil engineering principles
- Basic proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD or similar) for 2D drafting and drawing updates
- Interest in both design work and construction projects, including on-site activities and supervision tasks
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings (plans, sections, and details)
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow engineering standards and procedures
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team and eagerness to learn
