Job Summary
Design concept plans, grading plans, stormwater management plans, utility system plans, and soil erosion and sediment control plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D. Research zoning ordinances, coordinate with local jurisdictions, and visit sites to observe field conditions. Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to drive land development projects from concept to construction. Participate in team meetings to contribute ideas for design and process improvements. Gain hands-on experience in site design while learning the complete land development process under mentorship from experienced professionals.
Required Qualifications
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Civil, Environmental, Biosystems Engineering, or a related field
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- A self-starter attitude with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Current authorization to work in the United States
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D (preferred; training provided if not yet proficient)
- Curiosity and motivation to learn within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Interest in civil site design, land development, and problem-solving
