Job Summary
Design concept plans, grading plans, stormwater management plans, utility system plans, and soil erosion controls using AutoCAD Civil 3D to support commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments. Research zoning ordinances, coordinate with local jurisdictions, and visit sites to observe field conditions. Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to drive land development projects from concept through construction. Participate in team meetings to contribute ideas for design and process improvements. Gain hands-on training and mentorship from experienced engineers on active land development projects.
Required Qualifications
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Civil, Environmental, Biosystems Engineering, or a related field
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- A self-starter attitude with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Current authorization to work in the United States
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D (preferred; training provided if not yet proficient)
- Curiosity and motivation to learn within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Interest in civil site design, land development, and problem-solving
