Job Summary
Design concept plans, grading plans, stormwater management plans, utility system plans, and soil erosion control plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D. Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to coordinate land development projects from concept to construction. Research zoning ordinances and coordinate with local jurisdictions while visiting sites to observe field conditions. Participate in team meetings to contribute ideas for design and process improvements. Gain hands-on experience supporting the complete site development process for commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments under mentorship from experienced professionals.
Required Qualifications
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Civil, Environmental, Biosystems Engineering, or a related field
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- A self-starter attitude with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Curiosity and motivation to learn within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Interest in civil site design, land development, and problem-solving
- Current authorization to work in the United States
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D (preferred; training provided if not yet proficient)
