Civil Engineering Intern

Job Summary
Utilize technical software programs to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients. Contribute to pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for projects of varying scopes. Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to realize client visions for the built environment. Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations alongside Kimley-Horn's and client-specific practices and standards. Gain proficiency in discipline-specific software including AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, and/or GIS. This role is based in the Memphis, Tennessee office and requires an ABET-accredited engineering degree in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering fields.
Required Qualifications
- In the process of receiving an ABET accredited engineering degree
- Bachelor's degree
- Master's degree
- Civil and/or Environmental Engineering major
- Mechanical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering major
- Engineering Technology major
- Must be able to work in Memphis, Tennessee (TN)
- Must be able to work on-site (not remote)
