Job Summary
Design improvement plans, calculations, and engineering drawings for residential, commercial, and institutional projects under Project Manager direction. Prepare tentative maps, coordinate with technical staff and sub-consultants, and assist in client exhibit creation. Maintain organized project files, attend weekly progress meetings for reporting, and interface with agencies for plan checks while adhering to company CAD procedures. Requires proficiency in Civil 3D and Land Desktop, a valid driver's license, and three years of experience in a Civil Engineering Firm. Based in Reno, NV, this role involves on-site work and requires US work authorization without sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- Must be proficient in Civil 3D
- Working knowledge of Land Desktop
- Proficient in Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to learn and abide by the company's CAD procedures for layering and file management
- A high school diploma and a technical school degree/certificate in a related discipline
- Three (3) years of working experience within a Civil Engineering Firm using AutoCAD Civil 3D software
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive company vehicles
- This role requires working on-site in Reno, NV
