Job Summary
Design improvement plans and calculations for residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional projects under Project Manager direction. Prepare engineering drawings, study plans, and tentative maps while assisting in research studies and information gathering. Coordinate tasks with technical staff, sub-consultants, and agencies for plan checks, and attend weekly progress meetings to generate reports. Maintain organized project files and exhibits for clients, ensuring high-quality control throughout the design process. Requires on-site work in Las Vegas, NV, with a valid driver's license and three years of Civil 3D experience.
Required Qualifications
- Strong AutoCAD Civil 3D skills
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
- Must be able to work on-site in Las Vegas, NV
- Must be proficient in Civil 3D
- Working knowledge of Land Desktop
- Proficient in Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to learn and abide by the company's CAD procedures for layering and file management
- A high school diploma and a technical school degree/certificate in a related discipline
- Three (3) years of working experience within a Civil Engineering Firm using AutoCAD Civil 3D software
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive company vehicles
