Job Summary
Apply civil engineering concepts to develop solutions for land development projects and prepare construction plans, cost estimates, and technical reports. Coordinate with review agencies, clients, and sub-consultants for permit applications while researching regulatory requirements and design standards. Prepare grading plans, profiles, road designs, and details using AutoCAD Civil 3D, and perform detailed calculations for storm water facilities, utility systems, and roadway improvements. Assist project engineers in completing projects within budgets and attend project meetings. This onsite role is based at Core States Group offices in Roseville, CA; Bellevue, WA; Kent, WA; Richland, WA; Scottsdale, AZ; Bentonville, AR; or Philadelphia, PA.
Required Qualifications
- 1-5+ years of experience in site development design
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Experience with or willingness to learn AutoCAD Civil 3D for site development
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office
- A desire and/or ability to work in teams to accomplish shared goals
- Self-motivated with the ability and desire to deliver excellent client service
- This is an onsite role based out of the following Core States Group offices: Roseville, CA; Bellevue, WA; Kent, WA; Richland, WA; Scottsdale, AZ; Bentonville, AR; or Philadelphia, PA
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is preferred, or equivalent work experience
