Job Summary
Prepare detailed design drawings using Civil 3D for land development and municipal infrastructure projects, including road design, site grading, and storm water management systems. Interpret topographic data to develop engineering drawings for subdivisions and water resources, while performing technical analysis of municipal components. Complete quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and contract documents for tendering, then coordinate design with consultant teams and prepare formal responses to approving agencies. Compile as-built records and execute site servicing calculations for proposed developments.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of Civil Engineering Diploma or Degree from an Accredited Institution
- 3-4 years of land development and or municipal design experience
- Eligible for future registration as either an EIT, AScT, C.E.T., C.Tech., or P.Eng. within the Province of work (or approved equivalent)
- High level of expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Experience with stormwater and water modeling software
- Experience in Commercial, Subdivisions and Site Plan Design
- Must be well organized to be able to prioritize multiple tasks and demonstrate a flexible approach to work assignments
