Job Summary
Civil Engineering Associate for federal projects, supporting licensed engineers on infrastructure serving national priorities. This entry-level role accelerates growth toward a Professional Engineer license and involves preparing design computations, plan sets, and drawings to federal standards (e.g., USACE, NAVFAC, FHWA); developing and coordinating submittals; preparing specifications and reports; conducting site visits and field investigations; applying federal, state, and local regulations to project designs; maintaining rigorous project documentation; developing clear engineering deliverables for agency review; and supporting QA/QC processes. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams and federal agency representatives to contribute to projects with national significance. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Office is preferred; EIT licensure is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in position relevant Engineering field from ABET accredited school
- Experience: No previous relevant work experience is required. Prior internships in the A/E industry is preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: Engineer in Training (EIT) preferred.
