Job Summary
Utilize technical software programs to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients while contributing to pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for projects of varying scopes. Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations alongside Kimley-Horn's and client practices. Learn specific software programs including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, and/or GIS. Required Qualifications
- An ABET accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) by Summer 2026 in one of the following majors: Civil and/or Environmental Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering, Engineering Technology
- Charlotte, North Carolina (NC) office
