Job Summary

Utilize technical software programs to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients while contributing to pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects. Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce client visions for the future built environment. Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations alongside Kimley-Horn's and client practices, procedures, and standards. Analysts will learn specific software programs including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, and/or GIS. This entry-level role begins in 2027 at Kimley-Horn's Franklin, TN office and requires an ABET accredited engineering degree in Civil, Environmental, or related fields by the start date.

Required Qualifications

  • An ABET accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) by Summer 2027 in one of the following majors: Civil and/or Environmental Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering, Engineering Technology
  • This is not a remote position
