Job Summary
Utilize technical software programs to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients on pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis projects. Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce client visions for the built environment. Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations alongside Kimley-Horn's and client practices, procedures, and standards. This entry-level role targets engineering graduates joining the Reno, Nevada office in 2027 for non-remote work. Candidates must hold an ABET accredited degree in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering fields by the start date.
Required Qualifications
- An ABET accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) by Summer 2027 in one of the following majors: Civil and/or Environmental Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering, Engineering Technology
- This is not a remote position
- Reno, Nevada (NV) office
