Job Summary
Utilize technical software programs to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients while contributing to pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for projects of varying scopes. Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to realize clients' visions for the built environment. Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations alongside Kimley-Horn's and client-specific practices and standards. This entry-level role requires an ABET accredited engineering degree in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering fields by Summer 2026. Based in Durham, NC, the position is non-remote. Required Qualifications
- An ABET accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) by Summer 2026 in one of the following majors: Civil and/or Environmental Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering, Engineering Technology
