Job Summary

Utilize technical software programs to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients while contributing to pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for projects of varying scopes. Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce client visions for the future built environment. Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations alongside Kimley-Horn's and client practices, procedures, and standards. Analysts will learn specific discipline software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, and/or GIS. This entry-level engineering role begins in 2027 at our Boise, Idaho office, requiring an ABET accredited degree in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering fields.

Required Qualifications

  • An ABET accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) by Summer 2027 in one of the following majors: Civil and/or Environmental Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering, Engineering Technology
  • Must be available for in-person work in Boise, Idaho (ID)
  • Must be available to start in 2027
