Job Summary
Civil Engineer-Water/Wastewater role overseeing planning, design, and analysis of water and wastewater projects such as pipelines, pumping stations, and treatment facilities. Responsibilities include hydraulic calculations, producing reports and bid documents for arsenic/radium/iron removal plants, wells, tanks, pumping piping, and wastewater improvements; supporting inspection activities; representing the firm to township and utility authorities; drafting concise proposals for new work; managing multiple assignments to meet deadlines and budgets; regulatory permitting; assisting with energy audits. Requires 8+ years of experience, a BS in Civil/Mechanical/Structural/Chemical Engineering, and strong communication and drafting skills; AutoCAD experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Structural, or Chemical Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university
- Professional Licensure Required
- Minimum 8 years of experience in water/wastewater engineering
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex construction drawings, schematics, specifications, and codes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to prepare proposals, reports, and bid documents
- AutoCAD capability is a plus
