Job Summary
Civil/Site Project Engineer/Manager with 8+ years of experience, supporting client-facing design and site development in NJ/PA/DE/MD/NC. Executes civil/site design for parks, playgrounds, athletic fields, schools/universities, buildings, sidewalks and streets; creates site plans and details with Civil 3D; analyzes survey/topographic data; reviews conditions and identifies engineering obstacles; designs grading for site improvements; supports construction inspection with timely data and client coordination; proficient in MS Office. Preferred PE license; ability to model hydrologic/hydraulic conditions; strong communication and multitasking to manage workload within schedule and budget.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- 4+ years of related experience
- Perform and/or oversee civil/site design for a variety of projects
- Design various site plans using Civil 3D or other CAD software
- Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography or data
- Review existing conditions to identify obstacles and assess impacts
- Design grades for new site plans and improvements
- Support field activities for construction inspection staff, including data provision, shop drawing review and client coordination
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Desired Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Stormwater design experience
- Hydrologic/hydraulic modeling experience
- Proficient in hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage tasks to schedule and budget
- Experience working with clients
