Job Summary
Civil Engineer focused on water and wastewater projects. Prepare designs, specifications, drawings, and calculations with support from senior engineers; provide technical expertise to multidisciplinary project teams; write technical reports and maintain project documentation; support project management from conception to construction, including leading small projects and attending internal/external meetings; mentor and grow junior staff and potentially serve as Project Manager on select projects. Hybrid model of home and office work. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, 6+ years of experience, and a California PE license. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D, MicroStation, Bluebeam, and MS Office; knowledge of site layout, grading, drainage, and piping design; strong writing and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 6+ years of civil engineering experience; water/wastewater focus preferred
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in California required
- Experience with site design (layout, grading, drainage) and water/wastewater piping design preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D, MicroStation, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office
- Strong understanding of industry standards, codes, and regulations
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills
