Job Summary
Prepare hydraulic and hydrology studies, drainage reports, and design plans for water resources projects including surface water management, flood studies, and green infrastructure. Coordinate engineering teams, manage project scopes and budgets, and develop watershed and stormwater master plans. Write technical documentation for regulatory submittals and feasibility studies while performing related duties as assigned. Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and various jurisdictions on existing and new public and private clients.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Florida
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or closely related engineering discipline
- four (4) years practical engineering experience
- two (2) years' civil engineering experience
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with AutoCAD
- Experience with ArcGIS
- Experience with HydroCAD
- Experience with SWMM
- Experience with HEC-RAS
- Experience with HEC-HMS
- Experience with StormCAD
- Experience with other related hydrologic/hydraulic analysis and design software
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Positive attitude
