Job Summary
Conduct drainage basin delineation, hydrologic analysis, and comparative pre- and post-development assessments. Perform hydraulic design of drainage systems, including sizing and placement of surface and subsurface structures, detention/retention facilities, and flow control measures. Execute site layout, earthwork balancing, and geometric roadway design while integrating stormwater BMPs. Lead design efforts and collaborate with junior engineers, with a preference for candidates experienced in concrete and steel design, particularly for industrial and petrochemical facilities. Based in South Louisiana or willing to relocate, with a PE degree desirable.

- sizing/placement of surface drainage structures (ditches)
- design and sizing of subsurface drainage structures and systems
- sizing/design of detention/retention structures
- design and selection of flow control structures
- Site layout and earthwork balancing
- geometric design of roadways
- Selection and integration of appropriate/required stormwater BMPs into drainage systems
- general experience in concrete and steel design
- comfortable leading design efforts
- working with younger engineers
- in the South Louisiana area or willing to relocate
