Job Summary
Civil Engineer – Land Development Designer responsible for designing a wide variety of subdivision and land development projects across residential, commercial, retail, industrial, and institutional sectors. Work involves applying zoning and land development regulations, assisting with site design components, preparing sketches, site layouts, grading, utility and road profile plans, and submission packages. Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Hydroflow for stormwater analysis is required; collaboration with project managers and team members, regular check-ins, and effective time management are expected. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) with 2–3 years of experience; EIT preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field (preferred)
- 2–3 years of progressive experience in private subdivision and land development design
- EIT certification preferred
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and hydroflow
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Completion of continuing education or industry coursework (preferred)
