Job Summary
Maintain effective communications with department members, higher management, and clients. Perform calculations using hand methods, spreadsheets, Mathcad, and 3D modeling. Assist in creating contract drawings by providing drawing input to civil designers. This role requires a Professional Engineering (P.E.) license and 4+ years of civil engineering design experience, with advanced proficiency in Civil 3D. While the position can be remote or near the client's office, conversion to on-site after six months is ideal.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's of Science in Civil/Structuring Engineering
- Professional Engineering (P.E.) License
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in civil engineering design
- advanced working proficiency in Civil 3D
- Exposure to permitting and permit processes
- strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- PE is non-negotiable
- Position can be remote or near the client's office
- Conversion after six months
Desired Qualifications
- working knowledge of Hydraflow, PondPack, WaterCAD, StormCAD, or similar software
