Job Summary
Lead design for water and wastewater infrastructure by developing concrete, steel, and composite solutions for pump stations, tanks, and treatment plant buildings. Produce structural calculations, drawings, and specifications while analyzing systems for high seismic regions. Support construction-phase services through field structural observation and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams using BIM and analysis tools. Collaborate across disciplines to solve technical challenges for municipal and industrial facilities from planning through construction. This role supports the integrity and long-term performance of critical community facilities. You will apply digital delivery tools to support coordinated project visualization and client input.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required in California
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural Engineering focus (ABET accredited)
- 8+ years of consulting engineering experience focused on structural design
- Strong understanding of structural design principles, codes, and standards, including application to buildings, tanks, support systems, and related infrastructure
- Licensed Structural Engineer (SE) preferred in California
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting structural engineering for industrial or municipal infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and 3D/BIM modeling
- Experience with Revit, RISA 3D, Enercalc, RAM Elements, RAM Structural Systems, or STAAD
