Job Summary
Lead a design team in preparing engineering reports, calculations, drawings, and contract specifications for municipal drainage and water infrastructure projects. Navigate local and state permitting requirements to obtain regulatory approvals while producing quality materials on schedule. Provide technical expertise on multi-disciplined projects as a design leader, QA/QC reviewer, or technical advisor, and supervise junior staff through mentorship. Work directly with clients to identify needs, develop solutions, and grow relationships with target clients. Requires a PE License in Louisiana, BS in Civil Engineering, and 10+ years of experience.
Required Qualifications
- 10 years or more of relevant experience
- BS degree in Civil Engineering
- PE License in Louisiana
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D and related drainage/water systems design tools
- Client-facing experience and ability to develop contacts and relationships
- Ability to produce quality materials on schedule while managing multiple projects
