Job Summary
Oversee land development projects from start to finish, including site layout, grading and earthwork calculations, and storm water management design. Prepare and submit local land development permits while ensuring deliverables meet scope, budget, and timeline constraints. Manage erosion and sedimentation control design, trenchless technology, and constructability issues across retail, commercial, and residential sectors. Mentor junior staff and develop their technical capabilities. Requires 8+ years of civil engineering experience with a PE license. Full-time role with hybrid work options available.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience as a civil engineer
- PE license
- 8 years of civil or utility-related engineering experience
- Site layout expertise
- Grading expertise
- Storm water design expertise
- Erosion control design expertise
- Civil-related utility design expertise
- Trenchless technology design expertise
- Construction/constructability expertise
- Foundation/geotechnical experience and understanding
- Specification writing
- Excellent communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- experience with leadership and mentoring junior staff members
- PE License, preferred
- Ability to mentor and develop junior engineers is a plus
