Job Summary
Civil Engineer to provide comprehensive civil engineering services from design to construction for new housing developments and commercial projects. Responsibilities include field investigations and feasibility studies; design and management of infrastructure projects (utilities, grading, drainage); develop detailed plans, specifications, and cost estimates; manage project documents; lead preparation of proposals, schedules, and invoices; collaborate with Project Managers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery; oversee field crews and CAD drafters to maintain quality and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed PE (Professional Engineer) in Missouri
- 2+ years civil engineering experience (preference for 5+ years in new residential construction)
- Experience in infrastructure civil engineering for residential developments
- Strong ability to design, draft, and stamp engineering plans for infrastructure projects
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects with focus on quality, budget, and schedule adherence
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Willingness to commute or relocate to Blue Springs, MO area (relocation assistance offered)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
